For our next assignment we went on a field trip. I took a ton of photos and I loved most but I narrowed it down. I saw a bird but my camera refused to work with me. I think I got some good shots. I was heading back to the bus and sat by the stream. I went to get up and saw a huge spider. I got a good shot. I really liked the flowers and they turned out quite well.
This is probably my favorite. I love the contrast in this photo. I also love the details.

When I took this photo I didn't want to get to close because it was a huge spider.

I love the detail.

Love the shadow.

Shadow

For our next assignment we took pictures that represented light and shadows. I focused on shadows. I like how my final pictures turned out. It was gloomy outside and there wasn't much light to get a shadow. I decided to take some in my house.

Stitched knee

My mom fell about a month ago and had surgery. They put a plate and screw in. The stitches totaled 20 and I took a picture of them. I like them because they kind of look like barbwire. All I changed in this photo was the colors. The original color was not helping the picture so I tweaked it.

Spring

For the next assignment I took photos to represent spring. When I think of spring, I think of flowers and  the blossoming of plants. I lowered the saturation to make the color pop out. I think that it worked out well.

Lilly

We had flowers on our table. I loved the details in them and took a few different angles. I have a program on my own laptop to edit the photos. I just started working with it but I think my first creation turned out quite well.

Detail

The next assignment was detail. I comprehended the assignment as looking for little things that caught my attention, using depth of field(accidentally) helped to focus on what I was trying to capture. I took a lot of close up photos with depth of field. I had a few that had a subject that shouldn't be present. I think these photos are a better example of depth of field than my actual depth of field post. I guess when I don't purposely do something it turns out better than when I do try.
I took this photo on my grandma's porch. After winter the paint started to chip away. I thought that it looked cool. Also, I like how it shows how much things have changed. We paint wood even though it has a beautiful color to it naturally. My mom, grandma, and me were outside. They were smoking and I was just out there to get away from the boys. My grandpa and brother were complaining about everything so we were outside a lot. It was early and I liked the shadows so I went and grabbed my camera, sat on the porch and looked for something that caught my eye. I had the camera on the  "flower setting."
I chose this photo because I like how the seed is coming through the wood. Nature is more powerful than a man made porch. I love how the colors of the plant contrast but still it is beautiful. I was laying on my back, on the porch, and I turned my head to the side. I saw this green thing sticking out between the wood. I walked over there and realized that it was a plant. I turned my camera on and took a few different shot. It was already on "flower setting" because I have a dial.

I like the depth of field in this photo. We had just taken out the chairs and this one had plastic fastener still on one of the legs. I had just got done taking photos of the little seedling and I went to grab one of the chairs. I had to lock the legs and I saw the plastic fastener. I saw it as a great opportunity to take a good depth of field photo. It shows the details of the fastener.
I love how the detail of the wood is still powerful through the paint. The depth of field helps a lot to focus on just the detail in the wood. You can see the shadow of the porch and the details of the wood. It was part of the railing. I had actually just taken a photo for the alphabet assignment and saw this. I just took a few shots. I didn't think they turned out good but it ended up to be one of my favorite photos.
This is one of the few that had a wide detail. I love the branches, how they overlap, and how the leaves are just sprouting. The sun was just starting to go down, I was wondering around the back yard, I laid down on the grass under a tree and saw the branches. I just thought I would take a few photos of it.

Album

Every one in my class was assigned a type of music. We had to create a album cover, back, and inside. The music I got was soul. Which was kind of ironic because I already had a lot of pictures that represent soul. Some photos were taken about a year ago, when I had a girls weekend and the others are from this winter.
